This report presents the findings of a study on the socio-economic impact of the Raajje Transport Link (RTL) ferry system in Zone 1 of the Maldives, covering Haa Alif, Haa Dhaalu, and Shaviyani atolls, conducted one year after its launch in June 2022.

It assesses the impact of RTL on communities, businesses, and livelihoods, with a focus on access to services, connectivity, and its contribution to economic opportunities and regional development.
