Ministry of Economic Development has appointed Nexia as the internal auditor of the Maldives: Enhancing Employability and Resilience of Youth Project for the years 2022-25.

With the Agreement signed on 1st December 2024, Nexia is required to conduct a healthy review of internal controls at the Project Management Unit (PMU) of the MEERY Project under Ministry of Economic Development and Trade. The objective of this engagement is to assist the Project in establishing and maintaining effective controls to mitigate risks to achieve the goals and objectives of the Project.

Currently, Nexia is also conducting the internal audit of the same Project under Ministry of Higher Education.
