We are pleased to announce the successful completion of MWSC’s Internal Audit Department’s first ever External Quality Assessment (EQA). We conducted the EQA in accordance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards) issued by The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).

The assessment involved a thorough review of MWSC’s internal audit framework, including governance, risk-based planning, audit execution, reporting, and follow-up processes. Alongside confirming conformance with standards. Further, Nexia provided insights and recommendations to support MWSC’s continuous improvement and future growth in internal audit practices.
